Original Art: Monarch Fairy

This one-of-a-kind art doll was handmade with cotton, a faux-suede blend, and acrylic paints. Her delicate antennae are made of silk thread, and she wears Japanese glass seed bead details with satin ribbon cuffs. Her face, hands, and baby chrysalis were sculpted with clay and hand-painted, and she was given doll's eyelashes and a high-gloss finish on her lips and eyes.

Dynaius, the Monarch Fairy, escorts the final travelers of the fall migration on to warmer climates. She sees that weary travelers get a drink of sugarwater, and has taken charge of an autumn-born baby in chrysalis form.
She will arrive to you double-boxed and ready to rest her wings on your windowsill for the duration of the upcoming winter.
