Candace is a writer and illustrator living in the suburbs outside of Salt Lake. Middle-grade fiction is what she finds herself writing most, but she enjoys weaving characters into worlds across all ages and genres. She hopes to see more places made for crossover fiction, like 'upper-middle grade,' 'new adult,' and mixed-format novels.
For illustration, she works mainly with traditional mixed media on paper, finding inspiration in secret snippets of nature.
